Veins

Just took a late night walk to the shore,
right before the mighty rains began to roar.
The only thing moving were the wind and bare trees making a peculiar creak,
as though something was commanding them to speak.
Incredibly desolate, like Buzz and Neil on the moon!
Once at the shore atop the cliff,
snapped this shot and was given the gift.
It was neither planned nor contrived,
it was just another moment that graciously arrived.
It was as though the spirit needed to touch the veins...
to let the mind once again become sane.

A unplanned self portrait taken overlooking Stony Brook Harbor, on the starboard edge of the glorius ship that sails on the great vast sea of geology; the one of a kind, majestic, and grand Woodcrest Estate, where I was blessed to live for 5 magical, dynamic, and mystifying years of life.
