Alms From An Ancient Path

Two Souls journeying on the combers of the terrain;

Around the wisdom of the Harbor’s liquid brain.

Under the canopy of benevolent caressing petals.

On self powered instruments made of black gum and metals.

In total darkness but still with vivid sight;

There was a smile so gleaming that it created afterlight.

Starry sparkles and a lunar beam;

Made them lull at an unfurled green.

And it was there that they held each other so very, very tight.

That neither shall never, ever, ever forget;

such an extraordinarily touching, sacred, and glowing night.

Heavenly Sky of Nissequogue

There is an ancient story told amidst the Connecticut Natives about their ancestors from long ago. How they would paddle their canoes across Long Island Sound to a magical place on the north shore of Long Island called Nissequogue. They made the distant trip to bury their Beloved. They chose that spot because they believed it was Heaven, as it was the most beautiful place they had ever witnessed. And since that place was Heaven they believed the Nissequogue Natives were Angels, who were the most blessed beings in the Universe,

by the virtue of living in Heaven.

This story deeply resonates with me, because for 5 years I lived in Nissequogue.

I was guided there by Angels, across the L.I. Sound from CT, and upon my arrival,

I was given the Divine fortune of being embraced by even more of them.

Who I forever live amongst Eternally, in the Glorious Heaven of the Heart!!

Sunset on the Nissequogue River,

standing next to an Angel.
